Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
The best pop-culture in exsistence:

Starting as a computer game, Lara Croft won the hearts of many. I would post some pictures of the original Lara Croft, but lets face it, the newer Lara Croft is much better! Well, I think so anyway.

This is from the 6th game, Angel of Darkness. The druggo behind her is Kurtis Trent, aka "Monkey Man".
I also read the Tomb Raider comics. Top Cow, the people who produce the Tomb Raider comics also have quite a few other good comics, including Witchblade & Fathom.
Sara Pezzini (top) from Witchblade & Aspen Mathews (middle) from Fathom can be seen here with Lara.

How cool is the art!!

This picture is a personal favourite of mine from Angel of Darkness.
Anyway, there is another game coming out, called Legend. Lara again has gone through changes & a boob job. The girl's chest has change size
every game! So, a picture of Lara as she will be in Legend.

Very cool.
~JOS~P.S. OMG! No
Rossi picture on this entry! Amazing!!
Is It Just Me...
Or are people using my comments section to plug their own website? There's adverts for flow hydroponics, Hawii holidays, adware, dry cleaning & fuck-knows what else!!
Anyway, I drew a picture of
Valentino Rossi, & it actually worked!
Check it out!

Change Is Upon Us!
WOoT! It's been Rossifumied!

How cool!! I got the template from
here & added my own banner & background & altered the colours of the star bullets. So it's all
RaaHaa. Now I just have to add more sugar on top:

It's not my most favourite picture really. Actually, I wouldn't have posted it, but it's
special. Special because it was the FIRST EVER
VALENTINO ROSSI PICTURE I DOWNLOADED. Yes, the very first picture I saved on my computer. So it is
special. So, not only have you been treated to a Valentino Rossi picture you also got a short
history lesson. How fun! Anyway...I think the amount of (or lack thereof) sleep I'm getting is
getting to me. OMG! Shock-horror! I just admitted to
lack of sleep! Anyway, I'm not happy, because you cannot see the old yellow (
this yellow) very well on the new template, so I'll have to change every post with the offending colour to a more legible one (
like this). So, I had better get to work.
~JOS~
Here We Go
What can I have a whinge about today?? BATTERIES! Goddamn batteries are going flat in the mouse...that's what I get for sitting on the computer so much! It's SO annoying! I have to keep putting it on it's cradle so I don't loose power in it completely.
Anyway, my computer never wants to work fully...goddamit! So, I'd like to say congrats if you've even bothered to read this pathetic entry you've just read the most useless entry ever. So I'll have to make it worthwhile.....with a hot Valentino Rossi picture!!

(YUM! This must be one of my favourite pictures!!)

Emergancey Entry For Cool Pic
A friend on MSN just sent me this picture!

"Hey Jeremy! What's my time? I'm thinking pole position with this set-up!"

WARG!
Okiday, I created a blog for Gryphonex updates & changed this one to joscail.blogspot. Anyway, blah blah blah stuff! Meh....that's how I feel at the moment, 'cause I'm wringing my creative/writing skills for a
History of Gryphonex over in the
other blog at the moment.
Og....What the fuck? "Og" where the fuck did "Og" come from....anyway...
Oh....My....God....I just downloaded & listened to a Vasco Rossi song & oh my god! Okay, I'll start at the beginning: aparently Vasco Rossi is Valentino Rossi's favourite music artist (yes, I got the song just for that...shut up Tath!) Anyway, the guy sings in Italian (obviously, he's Italian) but the song is just
wow to listen to...maybe I
should find out what he's actually singing about, but I can forget about that for the moment, I just love the sound of the song! Anyway, I'm about to
Google him & find the lyrics then translate them.

WOoT! Anyway, having a bit of trouble determining whether Valentino Rossi's turtle tattoo (as above) is real or not, but I think it is. I have a group of photos that appear to be from the same photo shoot, all with the tattoo, but another picture has him at a race track without the tattoo. I was thinking that it was a fake tattoo for the photo shoot, but then there's another picture of him a race track with the tattoo, so it's most likely real...

(yummy!)
Hmm, am thinking, now that this is like my 41st entry & all that I need a change...but will anything look better then the black? Nah, I think I'll leave it, 'cause you loose all your personal edits when you change template, & it sucked having to add all those links!

Stuff
I sometimes think that my life would be a little
easier if I didn't have art in it. I would be constantly think "I should draw that picture now" just to sit down & dribble crap-shit from the end of my pencil. I wouldn't get so frustrated when something doesn't work or so down when I can't produce something as easily as another artist. Maybe, just maybe life would be simpler without the need to prove myself in an art class...but I wouldn't give it up. Nope, never. I couldn't image being one of those ignorant people who believe anything & everything is art & spattering paint means talent. Sad sad people look upon the Blue Poles & marvel at it. I will never forgive Australia for buying that, no matter how much it's worth now. Damn them & damn expressionism! I could have punched the guy who looked at photo-realism & said
"But, it's not really art!" what a fucked up thing to say! Well
sorry but art doesn't need to be unrecognisable to be real! Okay, I'm ranting, I'll stop now. I fucking hate these people who can get big recognition for producing crap that anyone can do while people who can do awe-inspiring drawing in the matter of minutes are forced to sit in shopping malls doing portraits to make a few dollars from their talent. GRR! Okay, this time I will shut up about it...for now anyway.
WOoT! So I was doing a quiz & this is the result I got:

Your wise quote is: "Our greatest glory is not
in never falling, but in rising everytime we
fall" by Confucius.
Yes indeed, you see true strenght can only be
seen when a person has "fallen". Only
then one can tell how they will handle it. Just
don't make others fall so you can know who they
really are. You on the other hand may be a very
quick recoverer and don't let people bring you
down. You are your own, and you're find with
that. Emotional issues is something you handle
rather nicely.
What wise quote fits you? [pics]brought to you by QuizillaSo, what I ask now is this:
"Why you gotta take away all the fun & tell me not to make people fall?"So....that's it then!

Eight Inch People
I was in a chatroom the other night & had the
wierdest conversation! There was none of the usual "asl? You wanna cyber?" shit that you usually get; the person called davx14 started the conversation with
"hey do you think it would be kewl if there were eight inch tall people, and you could keep them as pets?" & that's what the conversation was about, eight inch tall people. At first I thought it was a guy who was making an implication to his dick, but he was serious about the eight inch people.
I told him I'd eat them. Eat them alive like the bunny rabbits & little children. & we spoke of torturing them.
()()
(. .) <-- Bunny rabbit.
It was all very odd. But I suppose it's gotta happen to everyone at least once. Right?

Past Life
Okay, I was told about this
Parapsychology and Magic website, I’m pretty open to that sort of thing, but you still have to laugh.
I checked out what my past life was (all this was revealed because of my birthday mind…how many people had the same past life I wonder? There’s got to be millions of people born on the same day as me):
You were man in your past life. Birth date in your past life: 1775 Country: East Australia Brief description of the person you were in past life: Loving artistic nature turning the ugly into beauty and dullness into brightness. You could find the opportunity of creative self embodiment in any situation. Shy, calm and reserved creature with creative disposition which you don’t let out. Sometimes people find you strange. Occupation: Sailor, merchant, small trader, entrepreneur, second-hand dealer. Artistic: Okay, so I would like to think I was…this was revealed by a set of numbers how? & don’t people say that everyone is artistic, no matter how untalented they are? (At least the person who advised Australia to buy
Blue Poles thought so anyway.)
Creative: Doesn’t
artistic cover this?
Reserved: Did they miss the
“Occupation: entrepreneur”? Okay, definition a of
entrepreneur:
“A risk-taker who has the skills & initiative to establish a business.” Okay, a definition of
reserved:
“Sceptical caution.” Is it just me or does
risk-taker &
sceptical caution not fit together?
Creative: Erm, again, already been covered.
Sometimes people find you strange: Okay, this I can deal with.
I don’t have anything against this sort of thing, I enjoy it. I also like palmistry, I have a big book on palmistry getting dusty in my room, maybe one day I’ll get around to reading it! Something that I can look into with a bit more depth is what I prefer.

Commitment
Okay, clear something up: isn't it meant to be the female of the relationship who's made all the commitment plans? It just seems that lately it's the guys who have the life-time-together dream & the three kids, big house, one Ute plan all figured out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that meant to be a stereotype of a female's view on a relationship? Now all the girls just want to have some fun & are far from thinking about children & life-long plans.

The Boondock Saints
Okay, so this is LONG overdue, but anyway. Troy Duffy is widely believed to be an arsehole, but has still been diefied in the minds of many. This is because of his indy film
The Boondock Saints.

The movie is not
nearly as known as it should be, black listed because of the Columbine shootings it didn't make it to the cinema. I've yet to meet a person who has watched the movie & doesn't like it, unfortunately I've meet many people who
haven't seen it. The plot outline goes as follows:
"Irish brothers Connor & Murphy McManus live and work in Boston. Feeling that God's will to rid Earth from all human Evil was given to them as a mission, they set out to do their divine deed. A public outcry is never heard, and even FBI agent Paul Smecker, who follows their trace of bloodshed, admits that the boys are doing exactly what he secretly always has wished to happen. Risking their lives for their beliefs of Veritas (truth) and Aequitas (justice), the Boondock Saints are hyped by the public, for they are doing good, which only few dare to admit."Starring: Willem Dafoe, Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery & Billy Connolly.
I'm as far from the church as anyone can get, I don't just not believe in that religion I dislike it. But this movie isn't some big hidden message of belief in god, it's just pure entertainment for a couple of hours, not to mention the purve on a couple of hot male actors.
Left: Sean Patrick Flanery as Connor MacManusRight: Norman Reedus as Murphy MacManusThis is a
great movie & I reccomend it to anyone interested in watching a good film. I thank my friend Iia for introducing me to this movie, which had been sitting in my father's movie collection for years. After I got the DVD I was disappointed to discover that
yes there was deleted scenes & that
no the Australian released DVD did not have them. No, actually I wasn't disappointed, I was pissed off. So I bought myself an American copy off Ebay, & finally got my DVD player set on region "0" so I could watch DVD from any country. I was
so glad when I got the American copy, because the deleted scenes were hell funny & I was cracking up laughing at the outtakes.
When I heard that Troy Duffy was making a sequal I was exstatic. It's, so far, going to be called
All Saints Day. Duffy is hopefully going to get
The Boondock Saints released at cinemas before
All Saints Day is released. I do hope this happens as there would be nothing better then to see the movie on the big screen (maybe not the tit bit, but at least it was funny). Currently though Duffy is involved in a lawsuit, I have no idea of any of the details, other then it is postponing the production & filming of
All Saints Day (damnit!) The second movie will bring back the two much loved main characters, but (to the dismay of many fans) Willem Dafoe will not be returning to the character of Paul Smecker. Even David Della Rocco is promised to be back, I never took
The Boondock Saints to have comic book style back-from-the-dead appearances, so maybe we're in for a little history in the form of flashbacks or something to that affect. Instead of Smecker there will be Eunice Bloom played by Marley Shelton, many people (including myself) believe that a romance would ruin the movie & hope that Troy Duffy doesn't make Eunice Bloom a love interest to either of the brothers. The plot outline for
All Saints Day has the brothers back in Ireland to open the movie, but after the murder of a Boston pastor in the style of The Saints they must go back to America. I personally cannot wait for the second film & hope the legal issue clear off soon.
I think that this movie is one of the most quote-worthy films in exsistence, I love everything they say, but my favourite quote would have to be
"Don't cross the road if you can't get out the kitchen" said by Murphy in Doc's bar.

Lazy Day!
Don't you just love the days when you can just laze around & do whatever? 'Cause I do.
Stop sitting there
with your hands folded
looking on, doing nothing;
Get into action
and live this full
and glorious life.
Now.
You have to do it.
-Eileen Caddy, The Dawn of Change
Okay, so what is it about people in chatrooms these days? I went into a chat, because I hadn't been in one for ages & I felt like speaking to someone new for a bit. But the person I found was rude & arrogant. They should just get over themselves. If they don't like to socialise they shouldn't join a chatroom.
I dyed my hair/Hubert red. My hair is too thick for one lot of dye, so I'm getting another bottle to put through it soon. It looks more orange though, not that I'm complaining, since I'm still happy with it all the same.
~JOS~
Charlie
Okay, So I've
Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. I had heard bad comments about the movie, that it didn't live up to the first movie, it wasn't any good, blah blah blah. I have two things to say about that: It was trying to live up to the
book not the movie & it was abso-fucking-lutely brilliant. Johnny Depp plays the
best socail retard ever & can still look totally gorgeous after numerous people have dubbed it his 'ugliest role' or a very feminine look. I give it a BIG thumbs up!
~JOS~
Problems No More
Okay, so bandwidth is
RaaHaa now. I've deleted a heap of things, Gryphonex will be changing alot over the next...however long it takes us to change it. So is
RaaHaa. Anyway...I want to put a picture on here, 'cause I feel like it.
